Riccall is a former mining village, 9 miles south of York just off the A19 between York and Selby.
The picturesque village of Riccall offers a traditional northern welcome. It has two public houses in which to relax,The Hare and Hounds and The Greyhound; you could dine in either or take advantage of the well renowned eateries in the village. There is an Italian Per Bacco, or two Indian resteraunts; The Spice of Riccall and The Spice Mill. We also have a post office, general store, hairdresser & beauty salon.
The Solar system cycle path runs along side Riccall for those who wish to bask in the spirit of the Tour de Yorkshire.
There is also the Regen Centre, an award-winning conference, events, and community facility. It houses four outdoor tennis courts, and a small sports hall where football and badminton can be played.
